Closing off the toe of a sock, the tops of mittens, or even sections of a blanket needn't be a hassle. Kitchener Stitch neatly grafts two sets of stitches together, but has a reputation amongst some knitters for being fiddly and easy to get wrong. Our advice: take it slowly at first and get into the rhythm of the process and anyone (even Jim!) can get to grips with this essential technique.
You will need to be able to work Kitchener Stitch if you are making the Pleione Cowl or Blanket as your project from Something New to Learn About Cables.
